Plot Polygons Are the Infrastructure: Why Buyer Dashboards Fail Without Origin-Owned Geolocation under EUDR
Peru has already mapped more than 150,000 agricultural polygons for coffee, cacao and oil palm. Dutch and German buyers still build dashboards that treat those plots as someone else’s upload. Under EUDR, ground-truth that the cooperative holds is the asset — not a risk score assembled in Rotterdam or Hamburg.
